Spring and summer are upon us and love is in the air. The birds are chirping, the bees are busy buzzing and pollinating the blooming flowers, and there are new broods of baby chicks and squirrels eagerly trying to learn their place in nature.

Perfect time for a wedding, I'd say. And I'll be damned if Charleston isn't one of the top cities in the United States to tie the knot. That's probably due to the grand and mystic hundred year old live oaks, sprawling historic plantation homes, and overwhelming beauty of Charleston. It's like a fairytale for all the ladies who have dreamed of being a princess for that one magical day when they are married to their Prince Charming.

You may have noticed by the pictures above how incredibly handsome a bottle of Holy Smoke Smoked Olive Oil is with a tuxedo and how attractive our new mini-bottles can be on a beautifully arranged table. Think of how grateful your guests will be when they notice a pretty little bottle of a unique and delicious product is all theirs for the taking. That's the only thing that could make your perfectly planned wedding better: a handcrafted, small-batch hickory smoked olive oil.

If you are interested in getting your happily-ever-afters in Charleston, you should check out Scarlet Plan & Design. The above pictures are taken from a Tuscan-themed wedding they designed at Boone Hall Plantation. Very beautiful, and I was the model groom. It was a fake wedding, but still beautiful. The wedding cake was made completely out of cheese, and yes, we ate it afterwards. There was also a gentleman there hand-rolling cigars. It was pretty much a dream for me.
